Sad Hello, got a 1.6 8 valve vitara with a carb and a cracked block. Also have an injection engine car model available as a donor.
Question is, if we put the engine and all its injection bits n pieces in as a unit, how difficult or easily will the wiring be connected?
any advice would be most welcome, Cheers

swapping engines sounds easy enough, although just a few points to think about
1. the carb version had its fuel pump mounted on the engine. injection engine had pump in fuel tank. So changed tank.
2. Injection set-up had three lines from tank to front, changed all cos they were better than old ones.
3. Extra gubbins under bonnet in fuel lines. Needed mounting point from donor.
4. Donor vehicle was automatic, so wiring loom needed fixing so that ecu thought it was in park for starting.
5. Not to forget, all dash out including steering column and swap loom

All in all, piece of cake!
