hi all,
i reckon im being a bit dense but i dont know what kind of plastic im looking for-

i'm trying to make some arch liners / extenders for my zook as the arches have pretty much been completely cut off for clearance but means i cant get it road legal as the wheels extend out beyond the arches (or so im told   ) so i want some flexible plastic type stuff that i can bend and cut into shape to extend and line the arches.

i dont know if i need pvc, acrylic, abs or whatever! all i know is that it needs to be black and flexible enough to be bent round the inside of the arches and cut to shape, not stuff thats gonna snap or smash the first time it brushes a tree

im thinking along the lines of wheely-bin plastic and the plastic that big green roll-tops bins are made of, or what large recycling containers are made of, cos that stuff seems indestructible. i know the plastic that number plates are made of can pretty much be bent back on itself before it breaks, and i think they are acrylic...

ive been looking for sheets of plastics online but its gonna be an arm and a leg for postage on a whopping great sheet of anything, so can anybody suggest a chain of shops that they know will sell sheets of the stuff? i.e. Ikea, Wilko's, B&Q, Wickes...
