Hi,

Brand new to the forum and vitara ownership. just picked up my 99 4U 3 door and looking forward to doing a bit of modding.

I've done quite a bit of research on suspension lifts and i think the place to start is some spring spacers but i do have a couple of queries i'm hoping someone can help me with.

1) Eventually i'll be adding GV springs and extended shocks to the spring spacers. i cant seem to get a definate answer on whether or not i'll need to add any extra spacers or brackets some say yes some say no. any thoughts?

2) a bit theoretical this, most of the spring spacers i've seen are about 1-2 inches. theoretically is there any reason you couldnt put much bigger spacers on (say 5-6 inches) and if so what would the pros/cons be.

Thanks in advance for help.

Phill
