hi, i've done a search but cant find anything, every time i turn the head lights on they blow the fuse marked tail dome. it knocks out the stereo, clock and lights. i cant see any probs with the way the stereo's fitted, a google search showed a few people have had the same problem but with no answers to why.
has any one else heard of this or sorted it.    thanks tay

Hello Tay,

Altough I´m a newcomer I will try to help you  Shocked
Recently I just cleaned my rear lights, and changed the bulbs. Just to find that, as soon as I pressed the stop pedal, neither one worked.
After several hours I found out that the fuse had blown.

Changed it, checked all the wirings, and when I pressed the pedal again I heard a snap, and the new fuse was also gone. To make a long story short, it was water inside the rear left stop.
Have you checked the wiring for water? sometimes it is a simple Job...

Just my 50 cents.

Hope it helps

if you have a tow-bar fitted it could be the trailer light plug or the cable pinched for it?

if not that change all the bulbs - both tail lights, both front side lights, and unplug the radio and try again

other than that most likely will be water gotten in somewhere

if that fails its a broken wire and that is not going to be fun to fix
