|

Okay, my truck is off-roader 100% of the time, never touches tarmac and is trailored to events. Its a lifted vit-based tubular framed buggy type truck...
The events i attent always include deep, soft mud and bogs etc.
SO... choose...what tyre???
1.Recip Trial MT (have used these in a smaller size in these conditions and have performed very well)
2.Malatesta Kougar (has comments suggesting its a mud bogger tyre) (Maybe others in the Malatesta range?)
Those two above i have shortlisted but there are MANY more potential tyres so if anoyone wants to suggest a better tyre for extreme, deep mud then please suggest away!
I will be buying 31X10.5 R15's when and if i can choose a tyre!
Any advice is much appreciated!
Many thanks in advance to any advice and/or knowledge given
Christian.

Just to keep you posted i have just recieved a set of 5 31x10.5R15 Insa Turbo Special Track's

So.. what wheels do i need??
I have some steel 8 spokers that are chromed... their internal offset is the same as standard vitara approx 100mm from rim edge to hub surface... but they are wider than the standard vitara and are about 8 inches wide...
so from outer rim to hub surface on a standard vitara rim is about 55mm whereas the chromes are about 100mm.
So will 8" wide wheels be suitable for 31x10.5R15? then will i need wheel spacers ontop of that?
Or if my chromes arent suitable can someone point me in the right direction for the right wheels?
Cheers. _________________ Vitara JLX 1.6
