I have just bought a second hand Grand Vitara 4x4 diesel. It is 4 years old with 50,000 miles. It is  slow to start from cold and takes maybe 5 seconds to pick up. I know it will start eventually but it  is a bit disconcerting particulularly as I have to go out at night. It starts from warm OK.  Any thoughts as to what may be wrong? merv Sad
