while driving up the mountain got stuck in 3rd gear. when shifted into 3rd, the shifter lever went way further than usual, going almost to the a/c radio controls( only had truck about a week so dont know usual shifting feel for this truck)
shifter is stuck in 3rd gear, the shifter will move around a little bit but not out of gear or into other gears.

sounds like its in two gears at once, ive been told about this and you have to take the gearbox out and strip it and manually push it out of both gears and put it all back together, that if thats whats wrong with it, not entirely sure...
