I have a loud screeching noise coming from under the engine bay when engaging the clutch pulling off from a junction/lights. This only seems to happen at higher revs. I have a w reg 2.0td grand vitara and I'm worried that it could be the prop-shaft. The noise is only for a second then the car is driving fine. Any idea's? Thanks.

Yeah checked belts. Clutch has just started to slip slightly now. Guess I'll have to fork out the extortionate amount of money they cost for this car!!

Got the new clutch fitted about a month ago, but the bearing noise has started again this weekend!! It was a brand new LUK clutch fitted by a proper mechanic. Could this be due to a dodgy gearbox?? or maybe a bent shaft?
