Looking for some help...
My Samurai generally runs well. However, when the weather is hot and the car has been running for a while, once I stop I cannot restart the car.
Symptoms - ignition behaves normally displaying healthy panel light; engine cranks healthy....but no start.
I have replaced the ignition coil, and HT leads, along with the distributor cap and rotor arm but hard to tell if this has improved things. What else should I consider ?  What’s the capacitor on the side of the ignition coil do?
Any help appreciated.
