1991 Vitara reving too high

When it warms up after a minute or too the engine revs at over 2K. I believe it is something to do with one of the vacuum hoses on the carbie keeping the choke on. There is no shortage of hoses on this 1600 so I wouldn't know where to start looking. Any help would be welcome.
