Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this one??!

I have a Suzuki Samurai

Ok, I have a very feint battery light on in the dark, the fuel gauge goes down with the lights on, when I press the brake the fuel gauge goes down completely, the indicators make it go up and down and the best one is when the fog light switch is on and I press the brake the indicators don't work at all. The lights at the rear are going dim and bright when on together too. It has a new alternator on it.

What and where should I be looking? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!!

Thanks in advance Smile

Hi there
Don't know how you got on but sounds like a 'Ground (Earth) fault by the variety of different things that affect your fuel gauge!
My 1990 Samurai has a ground point at either end of the dashboard just below the edge of the dash on the door pillars.
You may want to check that they are OK. Failing that check the connectors in the wiring loom and around the instrument panel.
Hope you have some luck!   Confused
