Hi. Been out of 4x4ing for around getting on for 10 years !
Health not good and needed a higher seating position, so enter my GV1600
It's sure good to be behind the wheel of a Zuki again.
Previously had 2x SJ410 2X Samurai and 1x lwb Samurai, as well as range rover, land rover series and my first ever offroader was a Lada Niva Cossack.
Like green laning and when the GV has a few mods, I will be up for some harder stuff.
Present mods -
Mud tyres, stickers lol ( don't get stuck, drive like f*** ) etc lol. Tyres are Technic tracker 2's in STD size.
Let the proper mods begin.
Cheers.
Tim. |

Hi Tim, I saw your post when I (just) joined. I've retired to Portugal and have seen a few LWB Samurai here, mainly with a diesel. As an ex Land Rover nut the LWB diesel really appeals, though I've checked the measurements and it's about the same wheelbase as a 90!
Do you know if it's possible to fit a couple of rear seats in the LWB the same as the SWB? It'd be a clincher for me.
Thanks for any advice, Noel |
