Good day all,

I have just purchased a 1989 Suzuki Vitara 1600 2 (3?) door convertible (imported into SA as a Geo Tracker) as well as a rooftop tent to visit Mabuasehube, Botswana in May this year and to tow behind our 1986 camper. I will have an aluminium canopy manufactured for her to accomodate the tent.
My concern is that this may make her topheavy and unstable.
Can anyone advise me re this aspect as well as to any possible improvements I can make to the suspension to accommodate the additional weight.
I am also interested in acquiring a rooftop tent platform (of the free-standing type) so we can use the suzy without packing up camp and losing our site.
Any other advice on possible improvements will be welcome.
She is in Johannesburg and we are in East London and we can't wait to collect and enjoy her.

Rey Salzwedel.
