Hi all I have a 2009 GV DDIS, I intend to change the engine oil & filter & wanted to double check the spec, ACEA C3 DPF fully synthetic. There seems to be a lot of makes on the market these days. My old man uses BMW long life with the same spec, would this be ok on my DDIS, AROUND £40 for 6 litres doesnt sound bad to me, there are cheaper alternatives with the same spec but are they any good !! I intend to change it every 5k as I did with my 2.0td  Ive not been under yet but I`m hoping the filter is easier to access than the earlier 2.0td although I got used to it after 6 years. Any advice would be more than welcome

well the oil filter is difficult to say the least on the ddis, it made the earlier 2004 2.0 td a piece of cake to get off,  not looking forward to doing it next summer again

Well if your changing it every 5000 miles save some money and go for a cheaper brand. Try and get the filter from Suzuki, aftermarket ones are not as good.
