I got mine off ebay (CD version) from someone near Newcastle, if you cannot find them on there post again on here or PM me on here (if it is allowed) as I no longer have the GV and now have a Range Rover. |

I downloaded my Jimny manual from the Suzuki website. I put my VIN number in and it was a free download .Loads of pages and information now all safely on my PC. I cannot load the webpage as I am not permitted. But the website can be found at Suzuki. Then look under the Owners section, then Manuals. You just put in your VIN number and download it. Also useful to make sure your car has had the re calls done. |

Thanks Blackpearl - it may seem something basic and obvious but your information about an owners section on the Susuki website is something new to me and probably the most useful snippet of advice I have found anywhere on these forum posts. I have previously looked up Susuki hoping to locate new parts suitable for my Vitara 4u2 1999 and to read general information. Never had success apart from guidance towards dealerships and ebay. Perhaps I need to search more globally but I think models of the same name obviously varied in design from other countries such as the USA. I guess mine was made in Spain. As a newcomer, I have been disappointed that the Susuki 4x4 club seems to have declined in activity since its great popularity around 2012 and the number of recent posts is so low. Since buying my 1999 Vitara hard-top 1.6 4u2 on a whim, I have started noticed quite a few similar old Susuki cars on UK roads (including Jimmy's and obviously the later Grand Vitaras) so I know there are plenty of other owners with problems to solve and interesting things to say - not least trying locating replacement parts and handbooks. Other people have posted questions but there seem to be an ever reducing number of members that send back any response or show any interest. I hope those people don't give up hope and stick with this club. Some of the old posts are very interesting and often helpful but perhaps I need to work harder to find some extra 2014 entries. For example, I need to find out what it means to see the "locked" icon. In the meantime, I am now definitely going to search for that Susuki website owners' section you have mentioned. Thanks to all members for their contributions and to newbies like me, please keep coming back to stir up the Susuki 4x4 club and say something more. Regards to everyone! Mike
