Hi I have a Suzuki Grande Vitara 2.0 TD. It is on a 53 plate and has a Peugeot engine fitted. The fault codes read P120, P200 (several times) & P220.
The engine management light flashes off (very briefly) when starting the engine and then stays on constantly. The engine was misfiring. So we pulled off and inspected the connections on the top of each injector in turn with the engine off.

Then we did each one in turn with the engine running. As numbers 1,2 & 4 were disconnected the engine stopped.  As number 3 was disconnected it kept running and obviously misfiring.  So we manipulated the wire and the engine ran / revved etc with no problems except the engine management light stayed on.  I have a code reader so I erased the codes and the above codes came back again with the management light still persistently on.  Also sometimes it will not rev above 3000 and occasionally mis fires!

Can anyone help.

Thanks Anthony

Replace the injector wiring loom, you have already found the fault. The 120 220 fault codes will go away as well as these are effect not cause when 200 causes it to go LHM <limp home mode>
