This is an unusual introduction, I guess. I may have been a member here a few years ago, but I forget.

I fell asleep on the I-80 in Nevada on Tuesday evening and sadly went off the road. Fortunately, I was not injured and neither was anyone else. For that, I count myself lucky.

Long and short of it is that my 1996 Suzuki X/90, only 30,000 miles on it, was injured. Insurance says it is a write-off and the body shop claims the frame is bent. The body has some damage on the left side and front.

Everything else is good. Still runs and has lots of parts for salvage.

I am posting here in case anyone is interested in this car for salvage, or for fixing up. In fact, the tow truck driver has offered to buy it and fix it enough for local driving (not requiring a perfect frame), so it is in that state.

It is in Winnemucca, Nevada. I live in California.

If it matters, color is red, 4X4, A/C, lots of the body still in perfect condition. Drive train and all of that is fine.

So the insurance paid me off and they will auction off the car.

Since I can't tell you how to find it because of the admin restrictions you will have to find it yourself.
