As above, I'm looking at a 4500 lb Champion but I'm unsure whether it's big enough.
Any ideas ?
Cheers. |

i have just bought a 6000lb winch for my vitara, it will cope with the car ok, but you can always add a snatch block.
the main thing to condsider is the weight on the front.
a good winch bumper and winch will add a lot of weight before the front axle making steering and suspension very different.
a 13,000 lb winch is about 50% heavier than a 6000lb one.
good luck |

my first winch was a 6000ib and the first time i used it i cooked the motor so i bought a 9500ibs for the front and moved the 6000ib winch to the back of the vit but never use it without a snatch block. |
