In the last couple od days I brought a 1.6 8v single port injection for my conversion, from what I can tell you need to replace the wiring loom and inslatll the ecu to get it all to work.

i understand the single point injection system from what i understand is a way of better atomizing the fuel with the air.
just a delivery system for the fuel.

say i fit the engine in tho, where im stuck is the wiring of the thing.
any walk throughts or help would be much appreciated.

cool, the starter, alternator, temp sensor, are all the same wiring and off the top of my head there is a green plug on the 1.3 carb that plugs in the 1.6 "carb", the coil wires are the same but i will check mine and take pics for u  Smile

can you post a pic of the left side of the engine, mine is an ealier model it uses a coil bu im sure yours wont be too hard to fit. start by pluging everthing in on the engine then disasemble the loom and throw what isnt being used and you will find you will be left with a couple of wires that will need to be wired to the ignition/coil area
