im fitting an su carb i know most of basics just a few question i have that im finding hard to find info on

ok first what do i do with the pipe that come's from the exhaust can i tee it into the filter on the su or do i need a filter of its own

the fuel overflow pipe? dose this need to go back to the tank or?

also i have seen two different ways of installation of the rocker cover pipe, one with a small air filter on the end and part of the su capped off and the on on the manifolded capped off and another with pipe going from rocker cover to su where the other was capped, and teed from the manifold as normal witch is best to use?

im going to post some pics tomorrow make sure everything i have done is right

all help will be appreciated

thanks

jon

Hi,probably too late but i teed into when i did mine .

Also i discovered that the fuel overflow wasnt actually that and i had done something to the float chamber which made an overflow, cant be much more descriptive as it was 3 yaers ago.  All i did to rectify it was make sure the float was fitted correctly and the fuel overflow pipe as it was could then be plumbed back into the carb,i originally thought it needed to be run back to the tank but i assure you it doesnt!!!!!!

If you cant do it them pm me as i may still be able to get hold of the chap i sold my little sammy to and take a photo of how i set it up.

Cheers

Liam.
