After driving a while I've found the nearside rear brake locking up, particularly when turning left. Looking inside the hub I've found that the brake has been binding with the drum. New shoes and cylinders just a few weeks ago, mobile mechanic mate fitted them and he 'gravity' bled the line I'm thinking before connecting to new cylinders... Not the way I'd have done it myself, thinking bleeding the rears at the cylinders using the brake pedal compressed would solve the problem? Is there any adjustment can be made at the hubs to back the offending brake off?
99' Vitara 4U2 1.6 standard fitted with Lucas shoes if it helps.
Need to sort this asap before I burn through the new shoes, cause a brake fire or damage my fuel economy any further! _________________ Driving a 99' Vitara JX 4U2...

All is well! Gonna sack my mechanic for not setting the springs right on both rears!! Because of this, they didn't disengage after applying the brake! Sorted now! _________________ Driving a 99' Vitara JX 4U2...
