|
|
Hello, new to this forum and new to the Suzi world.
Just got this LJ80 2-3 days ago... runs awesome, except for the fact that sometimes it wont start (Very intermittent - no noises, no clicking, no nothing, just dead)
+ the Alternator is charging VERY slowly.... if i rev the engine i can get it to 13.2 Volts at the most... and thats after reving it and letting the voltage build, but as soon as i put on any electronics (fan/lights ect) the voltage drops to 12.3... From what i know, it should be 13.5 almost instant, and only drop .1-.5 when lights and fan are on....
Has a new battery, and a new alternator, belt is tight enough to not slip. - Any Ideas? Im fairly certain its a wiring issue, Just looking for places to start. |

I have viewed the Wiring diagram, but cannot make heads or tails of it as it is just too cluttered.... Does anyone have one for the Alt/Starter/Ign Switch? |

How did you test the volts? Did you test across battery or at the alternator? Could be a faulty battery, get it tested first.
