Looking to hook up with like minded off-roaders for greenlaning in East Sussex, no experience required and we'll all learn together! I have a few people I can ask to tag along from work but the more the merrier! PM me and we'll get together to explore East Sussex greenlanes in the safety of numbers. Need to get my truck muddy! _________________ Driving a 99' Vitara JX 4U2...

Although I had 1 reply regarding this, I was hoping we could set up a few people that want to do this. Fone numbers are the best form of contact for me. Message me. _________________ Driving a 99' Vitara JX 4U2...

Hi I am in Kent about 45 - 50 mins from you ... i purchased my gv from Eastbourne, so it could be a trip home for it.
I have NO experience in off roading. so would be a big learning curve.
set up a meet in the new year? _________________ 2003 GV1600 Sport Soft Top. Great for Fun in Snow and sun |

Right guys! Nice to see a few willing people! OK then, if you could all inbox me a contact number I'll get in touch with you all as and when I find out about the next outing... probably in Febuary now as we've just come back from a days laning in Crowbrough/Hurstmoseux/Jevington/Alfriston. I reckon the next one will be down Kent way, Ashford area or even Maidstone end.
Without your contact numbers I doubt I can get in touch quick enough to let you all know. Mobile numbers are best and then I can just text ya'll! _________________ Driving a 99' Vitara JX 4U2...

I am doing a 4x4 2 hr driving experience course on the 18th Jan (birthday treat) at truegrip in Ashford (Kent), so you be up to a trip out after this date.
I will inbox you mobile phone number soon.
Look forward to a trip in Maidstone / Ashford area, or even a day out down your way, then fish n chips later in Eastbourne
where are the green lanes in the above area, as only know of a very short one in Five Oak Green /Capel?

Had my 1st off road experience yesterday, at True Grip in Ashford. great fun. very nice people.
It taught me how a car handles over the rough stuff, up and down steep hills in forward and reverse.
what to do if car starts to slide downhill etc etc.
Through Ice covered water holes. driving along steep banking, felt like car would tip but it doesn't
So I feel I am ready to do a bit of green lane driving now. _________________ 2003 GV1600 Sport Soft Top. Great for Fun in Snow and sun |

Sorry kids! Been without a laptop/PC for a little while and haven't been able to check back on this thread! 4x4 off roading sites are a little too much for my car as its still stock and doesn't have the right tyres fitted so for that reason I'm only sticking to green lanes. As soon as a date comes round for our next green laning trip (down Kent way I'd imagine!), I'll try and post up details for members to tag along! _________________ Driving a 99' Vitara JX 4U2...

my car is stock also, but would love to give it a try ... still unsure about the 3rd yet ... not working but might be going to bath, will find out later in the week.
????? car insurance .... are you covered on normal insurance policy, or is there a special, pay&play / green lane policy you can take out?
hopefully see you soon.
