Tonight I took a drive across to Robin Post Lane and in particular a track I wanted to drive for some time. The track goes through the woods around Polegate in East Sussex.
I would highly recommend this lane as it is labelled a byway on the Ordnance Map (below) and is quite a long track, it took me 11 minutes to drive through in the Fatboy this evening and its quite muddy and has some pretty nice water holes. Also during heavy rain the stream crosses the track in various points.
Anyhow, if you wish to give this a go then if you are heading along the A27 on the way to Polegate (eastbound) you need to head past Alciston and Berwick, and head for Wilmington. When you arrive at the turning for Wilmington (if heading eastbound it will be on your right) you need to take the adjacent left turn which is called Thornwell Road, this then leads straight up to Robin Post Lane.

As it was evening I didn't manage to take any pics only the aftermath:
I would highly recommend it, it's great for beginners and I would rate it difficulty wise 4-5/10
