Hi folks,
I'm trying to source an exhaust back box for a 1999 Vitara 1.6JX 3-door but none of my local motorfactors stock them! Any good Suzuki parts suppliers out there?

Your not the only one looking Mickey! I too am on the search for the same part for my 99' JX 4U2 hardtop. The problem is that its a whole rear section we're going to need is from the center of the car back, its one piece with 2(maybe 3!) boxes on it! A local supplier can get me the part (theres around 6 possibilities none list my actual model!) with a 98% chance it would fit, a Claris exhaust rear section for about £75. Its a bit dear but then I've found cheaper on Ebay but with no garrentee it would fit?!?! I'm thinking of just buying it anyways and swallowing the cost, purely because if it doesn't fit I can return it no problem. Bummer huh! _________________ Driving a 99' Vitara JX 4U2...

I have to say I'm really surprised. I thought a simple trip to Kwik Fit would have sufficed! Maybe custom is the way to go..... |
