Hi
I'm a Brit living in southern Spain and picked up a 1990 Spanish LHD JLX 1.6 soft top, it's a great vehicle with only 105000Km, was sitting in a lock up for 4 years.

Anyway, it's running beautifully apart from occasionally the brakes start binding (if that's the right word). It has happened 3 times, once a couple of months ago and twice within a few days 2 weeks ago. If I stop and leave it for half an hour it seems to free up. Someone suggested that it might be a servo problem, the brake pedal is rock hard when it happens, and on the last occasion I unattached the air pipe to the servo which released the pressure and I was able to drive away a few minutes later, not sure if that was the actual solution or coincidence.

Can anyone advise?

Most probably seized caliper sliding bolts or piston.
