I have a92 samurai jl   samurai was not driven for 4 or 5 days and when started it up and went for ride it misssed and died after about 5 minutes. It didnt want ot start but was able to get started and made it back home. Took the fuel filter off and let it run out in container and looks like i have water in gas. I can take filter off blow out and put back on but will run for a bit and die and want start until repeatedly cleaning filter. I replaced filter, put in Seafoam and another product to remove water. A black smoke comes out of exhaust. Took the plugs out and they had black smoke so cleaned them off and put them back. The engine doesnt want to idle . Any other suggestions on what i should do??? Thanks

Are you sure you didn,t put diesel in by mistake! To be on the safe side i would drain the tank and start afresh.

Thanks Dennis I think I will take advice and have tank drained and start over. I think the problem has fouled out plugs too. Thanks for your help!
