if you look under the buper and follow the wires to the lights, i think theres a twist fitting on the bulbholder to remove it from the back of each light.

take a look, you should be able to see it

Hi Zocko...finally got time to check out what you said to do regarding the rear lights...Yes you were right..Thank you sooooo much for that...Any chance you would know why my vitara cuts out and wont start again..? Last month i paid £80 to have the injectors cleaned out. It was running fine until yesturday morning and it cut out again..! Maybe its the carp in the fuel tank getting in..?

ok, work on a process of elimination....

fuel, air, spark....

fuel: check you have fuel getting to the manifold.

to do this, turn the engine over for 10-15 seconds.... you should smell fuel

air: make sure the air intake isnt completely blocked (unlikely but possible)

spark: take a plug lead off, put an old plug in it (any old plug will do) and get someone to turn the engine over while you earth the plug on the engine. you should see a spark.

if you have all 3 then you need to start to look deeper into the engine eg cam belt etc
