The one that got it started for me was out 02 plate Jimny Special, had a superb interior and a set of OZ rims, wish we kept it now:
and our new (more family friendly) GV DDiS:
Hopefully be out in it this weekend if all goes to plan, mix of mountain biking and laning
more to come when photobucket stops being daft

It gets worse, I sold my pride and joy, my 15,000 mile since new classic mini:
and the Jimny to buy a "new" mini, which I kept for 5 months........
hindsight, ain't it great........... |

yeah, got the GV and a company car Vecturd, sorry vectra now. Man I miss the mini though, only used it for shows and the odd mini run, but man I loved it.
I went all glossy eyed at the new Cooper S when it came out, and sold two cars to buy one, BIG BIG mistake |

Here are some shots from the weekend. The GVs low ground clearance was showed up quite a bit by the Navara, but I had more grip.....
as you can see from this one, I lost a lower cover at one point...... luckily no damage, so it did its job. I think I might have to buy that lift kit and some metal plates if I wanna go laning again..

Nice grand vitara
I also own a GV and had the same problem with the lower cover so i fitted this metal plates:
A lift kit is also very important but nowadays there is no kit with front shock absorbers, at least in Spain. _________________ Jorge. |
