Hi guys,
I have a Suzuki samurai sj413 1995. Oil pressure warning light comes on after engine is up to temp or driven at speed.
There is lots of oil getting throughout to cams and have changed oil / filter and pressure sensor. Light still comes on. Getting oil pressure tested this afternoon does any1 know pressure it should run at???
Hopefully not faulty oil pump, please help?

Cheers sjallway66

So what was the conclusion? If the engine throws the oil out, then that might be the cause for the loss of pressure. Also, in time, the oil losses its properties and thins out, so poor oil quality could also be a cause for that.

Sound most likely a oil pressure fault, probably the PRV in the oil pump when it get hot..... Would be nice to know the outcome though !

Steve.
