Hmmm, not long had mine and had same prob when in the snow but the more i use 4wd the less its done it. I'm thinking maybe cos it hasnt been used much in 4wd. I may be wrong tho, just my thinking. |

I have a GV2000 V reg 70k miles which was doing the same. In spite of transfer case overhaul by the dealer, it's still doing it!
Using it in 4wd low is ok though.
It will go back again in January and I think we'll look at e new t/case to see if that solves it.
Interestingly, with only very light pressure on the lever, it doesn't do it - so possibly just minor wear on bearings the cause? |

Is it assisted by vacuum hoses to the front wheels? If so check the hose is connected properly. |

Oops! I forgot that I had posted this - update time!
Eventually we replaced the transfer case wit a new one as well as propshafts front and rear.
Has run sweet as, ever since (it is used as daily transport to our stable yard and then as a tractor for the harrow and roller on the paddocks!)
Just went through its MOT clean, no advisories or anything.
(Just hope I'm not tempting fate writing this now....... |
