This may sound like a silly question, but it has serious posibilities! My Jimny is an early 2005 model. The engine is the M13A double overhead cam 16valve, but not the VVT model which came later. I believe this has a chain drive to the camshafts? The drive is covered by a die cast aluminium case bolted on not a plastic cover. I have seen others who state it has a cam belt, in various adverts and so on. However thats not my understanding. Am I right?

Apologies, this is a fine example of why I should wait until I have finished waking up before thinking! Of course it has a chain drive. I will now go and write out a few hundred times, "I must not argue with idiots while half awake!"
