Right im new to this forum so be gentle .... Here's my zook as i bought it back in may last year

Then after a few play days and a winch competition it underwent some surgery ... i decided leaf springs on the rear wasn't good enough and neither was the gear ratios so i bought a complete rear axle from a Vitara incl. diff, trailing arms, springs, a frame and front diff from Dacar automotive in Kent for a very reasonable £150 ....

somebodys idea of wiring ....

had to buy myself a winch as the old man got the ump with me submerging his bestest 8274 ....

took the hard back off as it would just get smashed to bits doing the winch challenges (it is for sale if anyone is interested, make me an offer?) ...

started making a winch bumper and also fitted my leaf springs up front because they were like brand new & it also pushed the front axle forward a few inches ...

made a 90 degree aluminium intake tube to fit the SU, first ever attempt at ally welding ...

took off the old heavy "rollcage" and rock sliders ready for the new lot to be made (yes i know the rock sliders are still attatched in this photo lol) ...

new tube body mounts ...

onto making the rollcage ...

Surprised  Surprised  Surprised  Surprised  that took a bloody long time lol , let me knw what you think  Smile .

Jamie

thanks chop   Cool   yeah the vitara rear axle casing is stronger, wider and coil sprung already so made sense to use it. plus it was a very cheap modification, just alot of work and head scratching involved   Laughing
