Is this thread still going, Bought the new zukie specially for shootin. I carry out varrious types from vermin control and do some stalking, utilising air rifles through to full bore rifles.
I occasionally find my self doing some longer range target work and enjoy rolling my own ammo for the centre fires.

Just done some counting and I have been shooting for 42 years! Small bore rifle started it, then air guns of all shapes and sizes, shotguns similar and full and small bore pistol over the years. A quick flirtation with longbows, but thats all.
Mostly air guns these days, some shotgun especially for pigeons. Never found anything that has remained an interest so long and so constantly. Now I can even take my Jimny out shooting!

Well I can see that by your locations many of you are from across the pond from me but I do love to shoot!
I'm a card carrying member of the NRA and have several guns from .22 rim fire to 45/70 government. I have 2 o/u one is a 20 gauge and the other is a 12, I also have 3 slide actions in the same gauges as the others. I also have two .223's but both are Savage bolt actions I don't own an AR type rifle though I do have two sks's and one mac 90, four center fire pistols, one rimfire and one Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag. And several others long guns mostly hunting rifles.
I also reload most of my ammo. |
