Hi there.

I've just bought a 1992 Vitara JLX SE.

After a drive around i noticed that the engine seems to be getting quite hot. I've poped out the thermostat which appears to be faulty but that hasn't cured it. i've confirmed that the water pump is working.

Is there anything else i can check before i tackle the head gasket?

Thanks.
