I have bought the bits (4 bearings & 2 seals) and studied a couple of HOW TOs on the forums.
The only thing left I can think of that might give me a problem is access to the 4 bolts holding the bearing hub to the steering knuckle.
My 2004 Jimny has both the vacuum operated hubs and ABS rotors & sensors.

I was hoping to avoid dismantling the bearing hub as that would require buying the pin tool to undo the circular bearing retaining nut as is indicated in the Suzuki Jimny workshop manual.

Using a flat style ring spanner will I be able to get at the 4 bolts behind the ABS rotor without having to dismantling / removing the bearing hub parts first?

thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

I know this is an old post, but someone may still want to know the answer! I have just done the job so I can tell you. The bolts holding the bearing hub to the knuckle on models with ABS are well tucked in, but a ring or open end spanner will turn them easily. They do not need to come right out, just out of the thread in the steering knuckle. They then remain with the bearing hub. You do not need to remove the wheel bearing to do the king pin bearings, so you will not need the special tool to remove the wheel bearing.

There are tricky bits to the job, like getting the outer ring of the king pin bearings out of the swivel hub. I eventually got mine out with an old screwdriver and a club hammer. I have seen it advised that a little blob of weld on the inner face gives a good key for a punch or chisel to knock them out. Spend plenty of time cleaning everything up, there will be lots of old grease, oil, and dirt in there.
