Hello. As you have probably worked out, Im just a bit simple so please forgive the
daft question! I have been reading with some envy, posts re upgrading ice systems &
I have a question...............I currently have original unit in me jimny (its so original
the speakers sound like there's a wasp stuck in em) but is it worth upgrading as the bumpy
jimny ride makes the cd jump? Will a quality unit cope better? Please dont suggest I change
the jimny instead cos that WONT be happening, we get on too well for that Very Happy

you can buy headunits that you can plug a USB memory stick into and play Mp3s, or one with an input for an mp3 player they wont be able to jump, newer cd players are better (mine plays dvds as well) but are not perfect.

Thankyou Toastie, might have to shake the pig then!
Would be good to listen without gritting my teeth every time the
thing hiccups, it plays havoc with my singalong timing Laughing

if you buy a new head unit it will help, but dont buy one too cheap, about £80+ for a decent one, and it would be best to upgrade the speakers too, that will get rid of the buzzing sound, speakers start from arond £20 for a pair...
