hello ive been told that the front diff is weak on earlier vits and should be replaced , can anyone advise please?

Strictly speaking its the front axle casing that breaks as its made of alloy. Occasionally the alloy diff carrier breaks. The diff itself is made of steel and rarely causes trouble. I broke 2 axle casings before investing in a steel one-cost £180 ish off ebay.. They come up on ebay-difflock-shropshire suzuki and here from time to time
