Hi everyone, new owner looking for some help. I have a 2004 XL7 that has a mind of it's own in relation to the door open light on the dash and interior lights. When I am driving along these lights keep coming on without the doors being opened. Vibration or bumps in the road seem to cause it but I have checked the doors and they are all closing properly and the door contacts appear to be working correctly. Not sure where the problem is as when the car is stationary and I rock the car with all the doors closed I am unable to replicate the problem. Any help greatly appreciated.

If the car has been offroaded in water its possible the door switch contacts are corroded after that I don't know.... if your finding the battery is running down after the courtesy light has activated in the night, remove the bulb... I know all this isn't much help, maybe bordering 'teaching you to suck eggs' but its advice none-the-less! Sorry I can't be more help! Rolling Eyes
