I brought my Sammy to the garage and the guy said that there are 4 bolts that need to be grade 8 somewhere that has something to do with the steering... and that I was lucky I made it to the garage because 3 were loose and one was broken right off. I don't want to keep having problems with my steering and possibly die in a fatal car crash because my tires are to big. I have 33's on there and they are 12.5" across, all terrains and the whole thing is lfted. Is there something I need to mod to make it safer?

edit:  They are for the after market bracket from the lift kit... the tie rod to the steering knuckle... 4 grade 8 bolts need to be replaced and I could have lost my steering  Crying or Very sad   Is there any suggestions? Obviously I'm getting it fixed, but what can be done to reduce the risk of an accident from something like this?  Smaller tires? what would be a safer size to put on?

sounds like someone use sub-standard bolts on the lift.

try upgrading the bolts to 8.8 hardness or higher, thatll improve their tensile strength and reduce the risk of them breaking.

as for being loose, try nyloc nuts or some threadlock next time?
