Hey all, here goes with the questions.
My project Vitara, already has aftermarket alloys on it, at the moment its running 195/80/15 road tyres,
My plan is to fit some of these onto my existing rims,
the sizing on here,
http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m26b464s243p12005&rs=gb
just says 195R15, so i dunno about the height? will these fit?
I have been told i can fit a set of Grand Vitara springs for a 1.5" lift, any particular year or model i need?
Also i have been looking at body lifts and it looks to me like a 2 or 3" lift is pretty easy to achieve with some bits of box section steel and new bolts, so with a body lift and a suspension lift will those tyres go on there ok? I'm not to bothered about some minor fettling, i have a great selection of big hammers.
My back bumper is broken so will be coming off as soon as i pick up some high level rear lights and i dare say the front one wont be on there long either.
Anything else i should be aware of with this plan?
Is there a LSD equipped axle i can bolt onto the Vit thats available at realistic prices? from a higher spec model maybe?
Thanks for your time. |
