I bought a Vitara 2000 reg on Saturday when I put it to free wheel only the near side wheel  makes a loud clicking/ticking noise that I can not see what it is. any ideas? I think it may be like a bike when you free wheel it still makes a ticking noise but not sure so clearly HELP is needed If you can help then throw your ideas at me, cheers guys.

Luke.

I had what could be the similar problem when I bought my sidekick.  A mechanic buddy of mine lubed my speedo cable for me
and that stopped the noise but my truck had sat for quite a while befor I bought it and it clicked at certain speeds only, well
I could only hear it at certain speeds anyway. It is a simple fix that might be worth a try befor you start taking anything apart.
 GOOD LUCK
