|

hi, i have bought myself a little 300w amp to go in my SJ with a 10" subwoofer connected to that.
anyway, how do i power my amplifier with the remote lead from the head unit.
im told that if you put a wire from your battery and connect it to the remote terminal on the amp it should power up, but i tried that and nothing happened...
if you know anything about this then any help will be appreciated. |

Hello mate,
Have a look at this page, it talks about ways around not having a remote wire on your head unit.
Does the cd player not have an output for an electric ariel? I know I've used that to power up the amp instead of a dedicated remote wire before.
Good luck with it,
