Hi guys new here and wondering if anyone can throw some light on my problems - my 2003 TDi Peugeot engine is giving me the above code we have changed the filter and this has helped, but the car when driving at 60 mph approx goes into limp mode, it can come out of limp mode and still keep light on, just now light off and everything fine - we have filled her up to the neck and all seems fine - a bit weird was starting to think it was the fuel pump maybe needing replaced as it does sound quite noisy when turning on! we have cleaned up a few of the sensors - but seen written somewhere to clean injector on fuel pump does this mean anything to anyone.  would appreciate any feedback on this at all.

Hello There, I'm having the same problem with my 02 hdi grand vitara. The fuel pump recently fail and was replaced but I'm getting the P0230 fault since. The engine is also running rougher that before. I,m planning on replacing the filter and dropping the tank to make sure it's not contaminated. I've also read somewhere that it might be worth changing the fuel pump relay as if the voltage to the pump is not spot on it may throw up this fault.

I Have not posted for a while - but we have sorted out our problems we did this by changing the o - rings in the high pressure pump this only cost 20pence. we changed the fuel pump and this made the problem worse as this was putting more pressure on the pump.  hope this makes sense.  we have done about 2000 miles since we changed the o rings and all ok and the car running like a dream.

I also had mil light on, sometimes in limp mode other times it cleared, went on for 3 months and continued to get worse, local garage had a look but not sure what the problem was, p0230 was the fault code. I have today had the car scoped 2003 gv 2.0deisel, the guy who did it found out the Bosch fuel regulator valve was intermit ant fault, irratic, cost me £300 for Bosch part and labour, I thought it was a quick fix, early days but the guy said all should now be fine, hope this helps someone else
Just done 200 extra miles and light out and no issues, great
