Hi all,

I was going to ask advice on a rusty rear floor in my Jimny, only bought it last week, but needed to put pictures up to show the extent.
I forgot that I'm not able to untill I've been here a while and put a few posts up. Rolling Eyes  Trust me.....

Anyone able to tell me what guage of mild steel plate would be best to buy?
You can't get the complete rear floor section from these here Body Panel Suppliers etc.

The rust is quite extensive, the bit where the jack fits has totally gone in the bottom after a slight 'tapping' and 'poking' with a screwdriver.

Across the floor by the rear bolt holes of the rear seats, both sides.

Would it be best to cut all the rear floor out just leaving the cross supports underneath, cleaning these up then weld sheets of mild steel in?
Bearing in mind that it wont have the pressed forms in to strengthen the panels.

Thanks in advance for any tips, help and advice.
