A couple of recent pictures of my Samurai on a few days out.

It's coming off the road later this month for some serious surgery. It's having a rust free shell that hasn't been on it's roof put onto the chassis but before then the chassis is having some major modifications including a completely new set of fabricated reversed shackle spring hangers, and welded on rocksliders.

It's just had a baby lobster transfer box installed including the prop brake and rear disc brakes.

I'll put pictures up and information on all of its mods past and present as soon as I've finished the jobs at the end of this month.

Lol, cheers for the comments guys  Shocked

I have painted it recently because it was looking very pink as the red oxide faded.
It's a work in progress so it may change a few times yet before I know for sure that it's the right colour. Good thing about keep painting it is the paints about an inch think so it's almost armoured now and near impossible scratch!

It would break more often if I didn't spend every available hour each month preforming preventative maintenance.
I can't wait see how it turns out looking after the work I've got planned for it at the end of this month  Wink

Started yet another makeover on my Samurai today.
Here's the first few pictures.

Looks like some crazy attempt at a hot rod in this picture.

I'm quite embarrassed to have to even see the poor the thing looking like this!  Embarassed

Here's the rolling chassis ready to start having some serious modifications.  Twisted Evil

Lol, I'm a bit concerned about the overhang  Laughing

I'm repairing all the body and chassis rot and whilst at it I'm cutting off all the spring hangers, fitting nice new heavy duty items from LandRover which are a reverse setup to the SJ, and I'm modding the chassis to lower them so effectively getting a bit of lift but without long shackles.

Also fitting rock sliders, new built-in front and rear bumpers which will be part of the chassis, and a whole load of other stuff.

I'll stick pictures on as I go  Wink
