Central locking not standard?

I've not had my vit long enough (well actually I pick her up tomorrow) to have had a chance to check this...

But did these not have central locking as standard?  I ask as it seems a little od - I have elecy windows, power'd mirrors but no central locking.

Its not a problem just curious.

I've looked through the site and google'd but seem to get mixed results.

Mines a 1991 JLX

nope, not standard.

neither was the rest, they were all options but the central locking was the most expensive

Thanks for the replies all...

Well I got her this morning and the straigt over to slindon and west sussex for some off road fun.

Had a little time at lunch to see whats what - turns out it was just stuck fast probably through lack of use.
