Does anyone know if them snorkel tops are also airfilters, or do you still need an airfilter under your bonnet and they are just to stop water going down the tube?
Picture of the snorkel type tops I'm referring to.

I wasnt too sure either alan so i kept the original filter on it to but just "adapted" it a litlle bit _________________ Ive created a monster............. |

Yeah I think there are different ones available, some which are actually filters and some which are just top covers.
I'm getting a 410 airbox and doing a job a bit like what you've done with yours
I need to get it done soon as last weekend over Daventry I managed to get my bonnet under water a few times and next weekend I'm off greenlaning and the people I'm going with reckon there's some pretty deep water to cross. I can't keep tempting fate! _________________ Alan

that's a pre-cleaner for top cover and for big dust particles to get a clean air and better engine performance only. original filter also needed. |
