the top of the filter is like a chrome cap but i didnt think about the rain just thort all those seals and that plastic box wouldnt be water tight just looked like a hassle but will simulate with a hose and let u know but i dont think it will make any odds oh and my pipe is lower than my carb anyway, i only use it for muddy days and its not my road car its my third shed lol

I hope for you that you won't have rain water into engine.
i just have a pre cleaner on the top and the oeiginal box on the inside.

have a gander on google and search rain sock its for motor bikes and doesnt let water through wow there amazing im gettin one

bought from tel aviv. i do have the original filter in its box under the hood. that gives the engine clean air.
if you want i can get one for you and send it  Very Happy. i can send the all kit also.

they do like a cloth bag that goes over the filter and letss air in but no rain or moisture there for motor bikes tho but how much is the kit
