I've only had my fatboy for a week, and when we first started driving it, it was doing something strange when braking, like pumping on and off really quickly, we were told that because it had been stood for over 2 years, the brakes must've become warped so we arranged to have the brakes replaced but when they went to change them, the said there was nothing wrong with the brakes and they don't need doing but that there was loads of play with the wheels so it looks like the wheel bearing has gone, could this be right? Is that what happens when the bearings are broke? Any help would be very much appreciated, I know nothing about bearings! |

it could be play in a bearing....
and dont let the garage overcharge you for the bearing.
another thing is to get them to put the quote in writing including the fault diagnosis and solution.
that way, if they say it was a bearing and replaced it but it didnt clear the problem, theyll be liable for any further repair costs to sort it out _________________ the car in front is a toyota...
the car pulling it out of the mud is a suzuki |
